Discobelle Mixin It Up: Digital Boy + Shark – Spirit of ’91 mix (direct link)

“This is the debut mix from Italian duo Digital Boy + Shark. 40 minutes of cut throat mixes and edits to be reckoned with that play out like a freight train destroying everything in it’s past. The lines between time are blurred by hyper speed and heavy bass creating a time space continuum from which there is no escape! Featuring the dance floor smasher “Gangster Rave”, the anthem “No One Can Stop Us” and their soon to be released remix of Congorock’s “Babylon”, this is more than an introduction… It’s a warning!”

Tracklist with director’s commentary after the jump.

About 6 months or so, I was having a chat with my brother Congorock. Amongst the usual updates, he had found a mysterious twitter page… It was Digital Boy‘s. We both wondered if it could really be the original DBoy’s page so i figured the best way to figure it out would be to tweet him and see what happened. It turns out it was really him. Me and Congo were really excited that an Italian Techno legend would be tweeting us back and even talking to us! It also turned out that he had moved to Las Vegas in the 90s and had kept producing and was more than in touch with the times and more so was a fan of Congo’s productions! The rest is history and below is part one of many posts about his inspiring history…
